For amazing demonstrations, we are delighted to be welcoming the super talented, TV Sewing Guru – Anthea Venn of Quilting Antics! Focusing on Bag Making and Creative Applique to enhance your projects (but there is more read on!).

Anthea Venn – Quilting & Creative Stitching
Anthea is an experienced stitcher, designer, pattern writer and Sewing TV personality having regularly appeared on Hochanda and Create & Craft.
On the day, Anthea will be covering a variety of techniques including Bag-Making, associated notions and the effective use of Creative Applique to enhance your bag, quilt, wallhangings & other projects.
She specialises in the use of Boiled Wools, Tweeds & Quilting Fabrics to create amazing applique works but also uses other materials to wonderful effect. Not only that, Anthea further enhances the bags & appliques with foam stabilisers to add structure to the bags and 3d finishes to the projects. Look out for an amazing day!
