Table Organiser Project…
STEP 1
Cut out H 640, your outer fabrics and your lining according to the following bag parts.

STEP 2
Lay H 640 onto the wrong side of the outer fabric parts and iron it on (press on firmly step by step using a damp cloth, 15 sec., 2-3 dots).

STEP 3
Lay the front and back of the centre piece out with the right sides facing and sew them together at the sides.

STEP 4
Turn the work inside out and stitch along the sides with a 0.5 cm seam.

STEP 5
Lay the centre piece onto the bottom edge of the front of the weight bag and stitch 0.5 cm from the edge.

STEP 6
Lay on the matching part of the weight bag with the right sides facing.

STEP 7
Fold the centre piece to the inside and sew the weight bag together all around (leave an opening to turn the work inside out)

STEP 8
Turn the work inside out, fill in the weighting material and sew the opening closed by hand.

STEP 9
To make the bag, lay the fused outer fabric and lining material for the front out with the rights sides facing and sew them together along the top.

STEP 10
Also lay out the fused outer fabric and the lining material for the back of the bag with the right sides facing, insert the centre piece with the weight bag made as above between them and sew together along the top.

STEP 11
Fold out the lining and outer fabric of the front and back.

STEP 12
Lay out the front and back with the right sides facing and sew all around to join them (leaving the centre piece out).

STEP 13
Turn inside out through the opening and stitch the opening in the lining closed by hand. Slip the lining to the inside and stitch along the top with a 0.5 cm seam.
