High Velvet Fabric | Navy
Superb mid to heavyweight velvet fabric with a luxuriously soft handle.
Ideal for soft furnishing projects but also soft enough to be used for jackets, capes etc. plus in heavier dress projects where a more structured finish is desired.
As a guide, the fabric would be perfect for cushions but a little light for upholstery.

Originating in Baghdad velvet has been produced since the 13th Century before being truly popularised by weavers in Venice, Florence & Genoa in the 14th Century.
Offering a uniquely sumptuous, soft & shiny feel it has become a truly versatile fabric. This option is ideal for soft furnishings.
The Fabric & Ordering
The fabric is priced per metre.
To order simply add metres to your basket - we will cut as one continuous length up to the standard 15m full roll option. Half metres are available by entering 0.5 (half metre), 1.5 (one and a half metres) etc.
