Easy to hand or machine quilt up to four inches apart. Shrinks about 3-5% with initial wash.
Very clean cotton mixed with 20% polyester, lightly needle punched and lightly resonated. Greater loft gives more definition than other 100% cotton batting from Hobbs.

We recommend sewing 'Stitch It' Wadding with Empress 100% Cotton Quilting Thread. Fine, strong, soft finish & absolutely natural it is an ideal and superb quilting thread.

The manufacturer advises the following care instructions however we always advise testing a small piece first to make sure you are 100% happy.
Hobbs does not recommend an initial pre-wash. The idea being, this wadding is designed to be used in quilts where you desire a vintage-style puckered effect after the first wash (created by the wadding shrinking slightly).
If you wish to avoid this effect then a very gentle hand wash is an option but is not truly recommended by Hobbs.
Once Included In Your Quilt The Following Instructions Apply:
Cool gentle wash with a gentle detergent if desired
Air dry flat
