Cotton Waffle Information

100% Cotton Waffle Cloth, also referred to as honeycomb or waffle fabric. Soft yet hard wearing, breathable & absorbent.

Hugely popular for household textiles - think along the lines of bathroom or kitchen lightweight towel and cleaning cloths. The absorbency also makes the Waffle Fabric an excellent option for dyeing.

Moving away from household textiles Waffle Fabric is ideal for a range of other uses including furnishings (natural curtains etc.) through to dressing gowns, slippers and more. Plus of course, as mentioned above it is ideal for dyeing (particularly in the White Option).

Fabric Offers & Ordering Guide

The fabric is priced per metre.

To order simply add metres to your basket - we will cut as one continuous length up to the standard 10m full bolt option. Half metres are available by entering 0.5 (half metre), 1.5 (one and a half metres) etc.

Also available in longer roll lengths of up to 40m by special request.

Recommended Sewing Thread

We recommend sewing Waffle Fabrics with 120s Polycore General Thread – this has the ideal combination of strength and thickness.
This is the thread that is included when you 'add a matching thread' above.

If you would prefer to use a 100% cotton thread then the Empress Cotton Sewing Thread is ideal. Although not quite as strong as the above-mentioned polycore it will work well with the Waffles.
